AhnLab warns of phishing site disguised as generative AI Claude download page

AhnLab said on Tuesday it confirmed a case in which a phishing site impersonating the generative AI service Claude distributed information-stealing malware, and urged users to be cautious. The company said the site closely mimicked Claude’s official homepage and offered download buttons for operating systems such as Windows and macOS. Instead of downloading an installer, users were shown instructions that led them to run commands that installed malware.

Samsung Display QD-OLED wins certified wide viewing-angle verification

Samsung Display said on Tuesday its QD-OLED lineup for TVs and monitors completed UL Solutions' QuantumView viewing-angle evaluation. The test measures changes in luminance and color coordinates from the front out to 60 degrees. Samsung Display said QD-OLED products showed at least 60 percent luminance retention and color coordinate change of 0.012 or less at 60 degrees. It attributed the results to its front-emission structure and quantum-dot Lambertian emission characteristics.

MegazoneCloud develops multi-agent AI for architectural code review with Heerim

MegazoneCloud said on Tuesday it completed a pilot project with Heerim Architects & Planners to develop an AI agent system for architectural code reviews. The company said the system lets AI handle preliminary work such as checking laws and regulations, shortening tasks that previously took 3 to 5 days to within 30 minutes. It said it built the service in the Seoul region using Amazon Bedrock Agent Core to address regulatory concerns over overseas transfer of sensitive data.
