Damunhwa IT, a non-profit organisation, said on Sept. 7 it ran “Kkum-eul Kkumteul,” a career experience programme in which teenagers use AI to explore career paths, with the Seongdong-gu Family Center.

The programme was held as part of the Seongdong-gu Family Center’s 2026 career experience programme, which ran from July 28 to Aug. 7 over five days. Damunhwa IT led “Designing My Future Self With AI” on Aug. 3, “My Career Character (Making Goods)” on Aug. 5, and “Tour of AI-Related Companies and Mini Exhibition” on Aug. 7. Aug. 7 also included a company visit and mini exhibition at SNA, an AI hardware and IT integrated services company.

Kim Yong-hee (김용희), chairman of Damunhwa IT, said what matters in AI education is not only learning how to use the technology but also having teenagers ask themselves, through AI, “What do I like, and what kind of future do I want to create?” He said the organisation would link AI education with career exploration, creative work and experience at industrial sites to help teenagers imagine their future in concrete terms and build confidence.

Damunhwa IT plans to continue working with public institutions, educational institutions and private groups, including family centers, to expand education in AI, coding and digital creation. It also plans to keep providing education and career experience opportunities so multicultural children and teenagers can grow as active participants in the digital era.
