South Korea's National Information Society Agency (NIA) said on Aug. 31 it will conduct entry-level recruitment for the second half of 2026.

It will select 20 new employees for regular and indefinite-term general positions. Through open recruitment, it will hire 19 people across four fields: management administration, AI policy and digital inclusion, AI project planning and management, and global cooperation. It will also hire 1 person in personal information protection to strengthen the agency’s personal information capability, for a total of 20.

Among them, the AI policy and digital inclusion and the AI project planning and management fields will focus on selecting talent that can understand and use AI technology and data. For the other fields, it will hire talent with expertise required for each role.

Applications will be accepted on the NIA recruitment website from Sept. 7 to 14. The agency will then select final successful candidates through document screening, a written test and first and second rounds of interviews.

NIA President Hyeong-cheol Kim (김형철) said, "We aim to select challenging talent who will work with us to realize the world’s top 3 AI powerhouse." He added, "At NIA, which earns public trust through expertise, we will create an environment where employees continue to grow."
