Wemade will introduce a new version of the casual defence game 'Demon Corps Charge!', released last year, to the global market in September after applying blockchain technology.

Wemade said on Aug. 27 it will officially launch the mobile game 'Demon Corps Charge!', onboarded to its blockchain game platform Wemix Play, in about 170 countries worldwide, excluding South Korea and some other countries.

'Demon Corps Charge!' is a roguelike defence casual game developed by Lightcon. It combines blockchain technology based on the existing game released in South Korea and global markets in July last year, and this version will be serviced through Wemix Play.

In the game, players summon demons with different traits and skills to defend a fortress wall from approaching enemies. Players can combine in-game enhancement systems such as 'Special Enhancement' and 'Treasure' and use the 'Star of Awakening' skill to respond to waves.

Ahead of the official release, Wemade on Thursday began taking pre-registrations on Wemix Play. It is also running events including those tied to reaching cumulative reservation totals and inviting friends.
