Cybersecurity specialist C-Cubista said on Wednesday it is partnering with security consulting firm Novainsecu to target the security market for key national infrastructure industries, including the public, financial and aerospace sectors.
The companies will jointly develop an "integrated security service" that links everything from real-time threat detection and incident response to security policy formulation. They will combine C-Cubista’s network detection and response (NDR) platform with Novainsecu’s capabilities in security strategy and management system consulting.
C-Cubista plans to use the agreement to develop an integrated security service for application across key national infrastructure sectors including public institutions as well as finance, energy, shipbuilding and marine, and aerospace. It plans to begin joint entry into domestic and overseas markets.
C-Cubista also plans to fuse observational data collected by NDR with consulting-based governance design. It aims to eliminate visibility gaps at monitoring centers that are struggling to operate security systems due to rising encrypted traffic and alert overload, and to maximize response effectiveness.
C-Cubista Chief Executive Deok-jo Jeon (전덕조) said, "Network-layer observational data provided by NDR is a core detection source that captures intrusions early and is also evidence for investigations." He added, "By combining it with Novainsecu’s consulting capabilities, we will provide customers with an effective defense system in which technology and management systems are organically aligned."
