NH NongHyup Bank said on Jan. 12 it will newly run, for about 6 months, an "RWM comprehensive finance specialist programme" that combines WM (assets) expertise with RM (lending and foreign exchange) practical capabilities.

The programme revamps an existing wealth-management-focused specialist course into a comprehensive talent development track. It aims to cultivate retail finance talent equipped with RM capabilities such as credit analysis, foreign exchange and risk management from a WM perspective.

It particularly strengthened practice-based training centred on customer cases, including credit analysis techniques based on a customer credit DB, marketing promotion strategies and lending consultation simulations.

The bank plans to raise the effectiveness of training by integrating education overall. It will gradually introduce a standardised training system at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels across major financial roles, not only in wealth management, and unify job training under the education team.

An NH NongHyup Bank official said the programme is the first step toward fostering comprehensive finance talent. The official said the bank will continue to cultivate converged finance talent that can present hyper-personalised finance strategies to strengthen competitiveness in the field.
