Hana Financial Group is running a carbon neutrality campaign in daily life that employees and customers can join together.
Hana Financial said on Tuesday it will run the tailored eco-friendly campaign, "Hana Green Mate (HANA Green Mate)," from Aug. 13 to Sept. 30.
The campaign provides employees with eco-friendly missions tailored to their individual situations and also gives customers opportunities to take part in energy-saving activities.
Group employees can access Hana Green Mate through a QR code. After selecting their current location, such as the workplace or daily life, they receive recommended missions they can carry out in that situation.
The missions total 70, covering energy saving, heating and cooling efficiency, resource saving and digital transition, reducing single-use products and resource circulation, eco-friendly mobility, and eco-friendly diet and daily habits.
After the campaign ends, Hana Financial plans to total the number of participations and the amount performed for each mission to calculate the expected carbon emissions reduction effect.
Customers can also participate by posting their energy-saving methods on personal social media. Hana Financial will draw 30 participants and provide coffee coupons.
A Hana Financial official said, "We hope employees will join environmental protection through small actions in daily life and that these efforts will lead to tangible carbon emissions reductions."
