Rubrik checked its own code for a month using Anthropic's "Mythos Preview" and rebuilt its security review pipeline rather than adding more reviewers.

A SiliconANGLE report, citing a blog post by Rubrik co-founder and chief technology officer Arvind Nithrakashap (아르빈드 니트라카샤프), said the company drew new lines between what to automate and where people should intervene.

Rubrik joined Anthropic's "Project Glasswing" in June and adopted "Mythos Preview."

Rubrik formed a dedicated team of engineers and information security staff. The team spent more time building a "harness" around the model than on the model itself. The harness is a software layer that manages points where the model calls tools and also reflects business and security context.

Rubrik began a broad review covering the entire repository and all files. It did not assume in advance which areas might have issues. It later narrowed the scope and reviewed again based on patterns found in the first pass.

Rubrik focused more on deciding what not to automate. The company applied machine-driven fixes only to some vulnerability types with high reliability and clear scope. For the rest, it attached more context and used a structured response plan, with engineers handling fixes directly.

Rubrik has not yet disclosed the number of vulnerabilities found in its review, the pace of fixes or the timing of disclosure.
