[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee] KB Kookmin Bank ran an education program to strengthen practical artificial intelligence (AI) and data capabilities and improve job competitiveness for regional youth.

KB Kookmin Bank said on Aug. 12 it has completed a network camp for its 'KB-Bridge' education program for regional youth.

KB-Bridge is an education program that supports strengthening practical AI and data capabilities and job competitiveness for regional youth, as part of the K-New Deal Academy led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

About 120 trainees took part in the network camp. Participants spent time exchanging with trainees from other regions through team-building and communication programs.

A job support program was also held. It provided one-on-one editing of personal statements and resumes, as well as practical mock interviews for participants.

The program provided guidance on financial and policy support systems for young people and also carried out education to prevent financial fraud such as voice phishing and rental deposit scams.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We will continue various forms of support for young people."
