Synology, a global storage and data management solutions company, said on Wednesday it has signed a partnership with SK Networks Service for exclusive domestic sales of its video security cameras. The companies plan to expand their physical security and video surveillance solutions business in South Korea and build systems for sales, technical support and partner training.
Synology has steadily expanded its video security solutions portfolio based on the technical capabilities it has accumulated in data storage, management and protection. This month, in addition to its existing camera lineup, it launched the BC800Z varifocal bullet camera and the FC600 fisheye camera with advanced features.
SK Networks Service has served as Synology's exclusive distributor in South Korea since 2020 and has built a technical sales network and maintenance capabilities in data storage, management and protection. Through the exclusive sales partnership for video security cameras, SK Networks Service plans to introduce Synology's video security solutions to the market and strengthen solution proposals optimised for customer environments and technical support.
Victor Wang (빅터 왕), head of Synology's Korea business, said, "The video security surveillance market in South Korea is highly competitive, so we need a professional partner that can accurately deliver the value of Synology solutions." He said, "SK Networks Service is a partner with the capabilities and experience to play that role. Through this cooperation, we will provide more systematic training programmes and smooth technical support to Synology partners in South Korea, and expand our video security solutions business."
