MegazoneCloud, an AI and cloud company, said on Wednesday it will cooperate with Taejae University to innovate future digital education and foster global talent in the AI era.

Under the cooperation, the two sides plan to build next-generation digital education infrastructure based on AI and cloud technology. They also plan to create a learner-centred personalised AI learning ecosystem. They will run practical AI and cloud projects and education programs for students, link overseas education and industry through a global network, and pursue joint research and future education models based on the latest AI technology.

Taejae University operates a global rotation program in the United States, China, Japan and Europe, allowing students not to stay on its Seoul campus. It also runs AI-based active learning. It plans to open an AI and Future Strategy Graduate School in September to train leaders who will drive change in the AI era and social innovation.

Taejae University President Jae-ho Yeom (염재호) said that in the AI era, people who can design new value with AI, rather than learning technology, will have competitiveness. He said the agreement will be an important starting point for nurturing AI-native talent demanded by future society by combining AI and cloud technology with Taejae University's innovative education.

MegazoneCloud CEO Dong-hoon Yeom (염동훈) said demand is growing for hands-on talent that can apply AI in the field as work methods and service structures across industries change rapidly with the spread of AI adoption. He said the company will actively support Taejae University students so they can acquire AI capabilities required in industrial settings and ensure the partnership becomes a successful industry-academia cooperation model.
