AI and cloud company MegaZoneCloud said on Wednesday it will cooperate with Taejae University to innovate future-oriented digital education and nurture global talent for the AI era.

Through the cooperation, the two sides plan to build next-generation AI and cloud-based digital education infrastructure and create a learner-centred personalised AI learning ecosystem. They also plan to run practical AI and cloud projects and training programmes for students, link overseas education and industry using global networks, and pursue joint research and develop future education models based on the latest AI technologies.

Taejae University President Jae-ho Yeom (염재호) said that in the AI era, competitiveness lies with people who can design new value with AI rather than simply learn technology. He said the cooperation will be an important starting point for nurturing AI-native talent needed by future society by combining AI and cloud technologies with Taejae University's innovative education.

MegaZoneCloud CEO Dong-hoon Yeom (염동훈) said that as AI adoption spreads, ways of working and service structures across industries are changing quickly, increasing demand for practical talent that can apply AI in real settings. He said the company will support Taejae University students in building AI capabilities required in the field so the partnership becomes an industry-academia cooperation model.
