Dassault Systemes is holding the 16th AAKRUTI innovation competition, a design and innovation contest for students worldwide.

The global finals are set to take place at Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027 in Nashville, Tennessee.

AAKRUTI 2026 to 2027 will reflect shifting global priorities and focus on four core themes: robotics, solving community issues, healthcare innovation and mobility. Participating students will apply design thinking and engineering principles to develop solutions to real-world problems that can deliver measurable impact.

Projects will use Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform and SOLIDWORKS applications.

Suchit Jain (수칫 제인), vice president for strategy at Dassault Systemes, said, "AAKRUTI started from the belief that if students are provided with the right platform, tools and encouragement, anyone can turn remarkable ideas into reality. The biggest inspiration is seeing young innovators take on real problem-solving based on creativity, passion and a clear sense of purpose. AAKRUTI began on a small scale and has grown into a global program with participation from more than 37 countries, and it has established itself as a stage where students develop ideas into practical solutions and create meaningful change in society."
