[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] French AI startup Mistral AI has unveiled its first robotics model, Robostral Navigate, Reuters reported on July 8 local time.
It is a step to expand its business into factories, logistics warehouses and the industrial automation market.
Earlier, Mistral acquired Austrian physical AI startup Emi AI in May.
The company said Robostral Navigate implements robot navigation using only a single camera. It does not require lidar, advanced sensors or a multi-camera setup.
It is designed to run on manufacturers' robots and focuses on navigation rather than object manipulation.
