Fasoo AI said on July 9 it has launched Wrapsody Core, designed to help users build a document management system for AI use while continuing to use existing document security solutions based on digital rights management (DRM).

The company said Wrapsody Core links with DRM to maintain a document security environment while centralising organisational documents as managed assets and supporting the creation of an AI-ready data environment optimised for AI use.

It enables DRM customers to build a document centralisation environment using Fasoo AI’s document management platform Wrapsody.

Wrapsody Core, based on Wrapsody’s document virtualisation technology, supports integration with DRM. It allows customers to store and manage documents centrally while keeping their existing DRM document access control list management and document permissions unchanged.

Once a document is shared through a link, email attachment or Wrapsody Drive, it automatically synchronises to the latest version each time users open it, improving work efficiency, the company said.

Wrapsody Core currently supports integration with Fasoo AI’s data security solution Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED), and can also be deployed as a single client together with FED. Fasoo AI plans to expand support to third-party data security solutions in the future.

Kim Yong-gil (김용길), an executive director at Fasoo AI, said the company launched Wrapsody Core to allow customers to use DRM while responding flexibly to changes driven by AI. He said Wrapsody Core is an AI-ready data platform that transforms corporate data into assets for the AI era while improving employee work efficiency through automatic backup and synchronisation.
