Meta will soon release a new version of its flagship AI model Musespark.
SiliconANGLE reported on July 3 that Alexander Wang (왕), Meta's chief AI officer, said on social media platform X that the updated version would be out "soon".
The announcement came hours after Business Insider reported that the new algorithm was on par with GPT-5.5 on several major AI benchmarks. The outlet did not name the specific benchmarks.
Wang said the next-generation model had significantly improved coding capabilities. He added that AI agent performance had also improved.
Musespark includes a "deliberation mode" designed to improve response quality through AI agents. SiliconANGLE reported that Meta's internal tests showed the HLE benchmark score was 8 percent higher when the feature was turned on.
