Com2uS has released a regular report containing its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and future growth strategy.

On Thursday, Com2uS published its second sustainability management report, 'COM2US PLUS'. The report includes its achievement of a comprehensive A grade in assessments by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS) for a second consecutive year, as well as shareholder return actions such as the creation of an audit committee within its governance structure, dividends and the cancellation of 58.2 billion won worth of treasury shares.

A special page covers its strategy for introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technology and key intellectual property (IP) indicators. It set out a shift toward embedding AI across the company, including planning, development, art and analysis, centred on a dedicated organisation called 'AX HUB'.

It also introduced performance from the 'Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC)' esports tournament, marking its 10th edition this year, and business indicators for its baseball games, which have reached cumulative sales of 1 trillion won based on licences for the world's three major baseball leagues. The report was prepared based on global sustainability reporting standards (GRI), standards from the U.S. Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and consolidated financial statements under Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS).

Com2uS CEO Jae-kwan Nam (남재관) said, "In a rapidly changing game business environment, we will accelerate a company-wide AI shift to secure future growth drivers." He said, "We will continue to become a sustainable company that grows together with various stakeholders, including employees, users, partners and local communities."
