Kiwoom Securities will unveil a retirement pension advertisement featuring actor Yoo Hae-jin (유해진) as its model.

Kiwoom Securities said on Thursday it would release the retirement pension advertisement, “It’s time to Kiwoom your retirement pension,” starring Yoo Hae-jin.

The advertisement highlights long-neglected retirement pension management practices and stresses that retirement pensions are also an area for active investing.

Kiwoom Securities aims to extend its existing brand image, “Kiwoom Securities when you invest,” into the retirement pension market.

In the advertisement, Yoo appears as a character that personifies a retirement pension. He conveys the stifling situation of a long-neglected retirement pension with messages including, “I’m a retirement pension. I can’t stay locked up anymore,” and “Just how long are you going to keep putting me to sleep?”

It also underscores that it is time to wake dormant pensions with the phrase, “It’s time to Kiwoom your retirement pension.”

A Kiwoom Securities official said, “We wanted to convey intuitively that retirement pensions are also an area for active investing,” adding, “We will continue to spread our brand value going forward.”
