AI HR tech company Human Consulting Group (HCG) said on Wednesday it has introduced a generative AI-based year-end tax settlement chatbot to its payroll outsourcing service.
HCG's year-end tax settlement AI chatbot supports users in resolving questions about year-end tax settlement directly, 24 hours a day, regardless of time and place. Its "year-end tax settlement tax law consultation" function identifies the questioner's intent and interprets tax law to fit complex individual circumstances. These include whether child deductions are advantageous for dual-income couples, how a mid-year hire should submit a withholding tax receipt from a previous workplace, and whether a rent tax credit is available when a resident registration transfer has not been filed. It also provides practical alternatives to reduce the possibility of missing income deductions.
HCG plans to assign the chatbot to handle basic guidance and general tax law inquiries, while specialized staff focus on complex tax verification and consultations for high-difficulty cases. It plans to reorganize its work system to raise response speed and consultation expertise.
Hong Jeon-pyo (홍전표), a division head at Human Consulting Group, said the year-end tax settlement AI chatbot is a strategic investment to upgrade its offering into a premium outsourcing service by combining years of accumulated payroll operation data with conversational AI technology. He said it will innovate service quality with differentiated technological capabilities as competition in AI HR and payroll services intensifies.
