Naver Pay is joining hands with the Small Business Hope Foundation to improve digital payment infrastructure at small merchants’ stores.

Naver Pay said on July 2 it signed a business agreement on July 1 at the Small Business Hope Foundation in Guro district, Seoul, to promote small merchants’ digital transformation and greater use of digital tools.

Under the agreement, the two sides will push cooperation projects to improve payment environments and operational efficiency for small merchants’ stores. They plan to support small merchants in responding to changing consumption and payment environments, centered on the offline integrated terminal Npay Connect.

In particular, they will pursue a “new terminal support project for small merchants” to enable the replacement and use of aging payment terminals with Npay Connect. Naver Pay expects this will improve small merchants’ ability to respond to digital payments and the operational efficiency of their stores.

Lee Hyang-cheol (이향철), lead responsible leader for Npay Pay Service, said, "Through this cooperation, we will support Npay Connect being widely used for business growth by small merchants nationwide."
