Integrated security company Logpresso said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with AI chip company FuriosaAI on cooperation in the NPU-based agentic SOC field and will move to advance AI security monitoring technology. Agentic SOC is a next-generation security operations system in which AI agents autonomously detect, analyse and respond to security threats.

Under the agreement, the companies will cooperate on jointly developing an NPU-based agentic SOC reference architecture, jointly winning and carrying out AI pilot projects, and developing the agentic SOC market and joint marketing. They plan to jointly develop a reference architecture that combines Logpresso's integrated security platform with FuriosaAI's high-performance AI inference chip, RNGD (Renegade), and present a technology model that can enable efficient adoption of an AI-based security monitoring system.

Their cooperation has already entered the pilot stage. Renegade is being used as core infrastructure in the KISA 2026 pilot project to develop an integrated security model, in which Logpresso was selected as the lead company, and in the AX Sprint project, which is participating as part of a consortium.

Bong-yeol Yang (양봉열), CEO of Logpresso, said, "The essence of this cooperation is that, at a time when global security companies have begun full-scale competition in the agentic SOC market, we can create a Korean-style agentic SOC model that combines a domestic AI chip and our own integrated security platform." He said, "By combining the big data and AI security core technologies we have developed in-house over 13 years with FuriosaAI's NPU Renegade, we will build a full-stack AI reference spanning from AI infrastructure to agentic SOC and lay the foundation to compete head-on with global solutions."
