SK Telecom said on Tuesday it published Information Security White Paper 2025 and will disclose on its website information security activities aimed at protecting customer trust amid cyber threats.

The white paper is the first official report to summarise activities and results since last year as SKT reviewed its information security system from a companywide perspective and pursued efforts to prevent recurrence and restore trust. It covers information security governance, as well as security architecture and technology and personal information protection, and is designed to show the overall direction of its security operations.

It also explains information security not as individual technical tasks but as a "companywide execution system". It includes what standards and systems companies should use to respond as security responsibilities and scope expand amid changes in AI, cloud and supply chain environments.

Lee Jong-hyun (이종현), head of SKT's Integrated Security Center, said, "Information security must evolve into a structure that can continuously verify and respond to changing threats." He said, "Through responsible and transparent execution, we will build an information security system that customers and society can trust."
