[Digital Today reporter Ho-jung Lee] Com2uS Holdings is starting full-scale global service for a new mobile collectible RPG.
On June 30, Com2uS Holdings said it launched its new title 'Star Sailor' globally, including in South Korea. The new title is available for download on Google Play and Apple’s App Store. It supports eight languages: Korean, English, Japanese, simplified and traditional Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian.
Developed by Panana Studio, Star Sailor is a collectible RPG set in a fairy-tale fantasy world. Users can combine and grow five-member parties, summoned creatures and equipment. They can play turn-based dungeon content and player-versus-player (PvP) modes. Illustrator Coax participates as art director, delivering distinctive visuals.
To mark the global launch, Com2uS Holdings will give all logged-in users 2,000 diamonds, 400,000 gold and 20 silver compasses. Pre-registered users will also receive an additional 20 gold compasses, 35 silver compasses and 2,000 diamonds.
The game also has events designed to support users’ early growth. A '7-day attendance event' provides currency such as silver compasses, multicolored skill books and gold.
It is also running a trial stage that lets users try the main character, Heidi Underbone, in advance. Users can earn diamonds as rewards if they clear the stage with a fixed preset team.
