HYBE has published a regular report detailing key environmental, social and governance (ESG) achievements it pursued last year, including protecting artists' rights, improving fan experience and managing safety and health.
On June 30, HYBE published its 2025 Sustainability Management Report on its official website, covering sustainability management activities pursued with various stakeholders. The report selected four major issues through a double materiality assessment: creating a healthy and flexible work environment, improving customer experience, information security and personal data protection, and ethical management and compliance.
To expand fan experience, HYBE set up a customer experience (CX) team within Weverse Company and introduced Weverse Spot, which provides integrated information on offline events. To protect artists' rights, it identified about 400,000 posts selling illegal products on domestic and overseas online shopping malls, including Amazon, and seized about 20,000 illegal items through offline crackdowns.
On the workplace side, it obtained ISO 45001 certification for its occupational health and safety management system. It also set up an EHS office in January this year dedicated to safety and health, strengthening its management framework. To promote fair trade with partner companies, it enacted an anti-corruption policy, subcontracting transaction guidelines and instructions for compliance with the anti-graft law, and disclosed them on its website.
The report also included results of social contribution activities by its artists in collaboration with global organisations. Through BTS's Love Myself campaign, it raised about 9.3 billion won in funds. Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together, Enhypen and BoyNextDoor also carried out campaigns in cooperation with UNESCO, UNICEF, the Korean Red Cross and Save the Children. In Bangladesh, it planted about 460,000 mangrove trees from 2023 to 2025, contributing to biodiversity conservation.
HYBE's sustainability management committee said it was further upgrading its sustainability management system by publishing its fourth sustainability management report this year and expanding and reorganising related organisations. It said it would fulfil its social responsibility as a company that accelerates its new business strategy, HYBE 2.0, while contributing to the development of a sustainable entertainment industry.
