Samsung Securities' number of individual clients with at least 10 billion won in financial assets has exceeded 2,000 for the first time in the industry. Individual clients with at least 3 billion won in financial assets also topped 10,000, widening its foothold in the ultra-wealthy wealth management market.
Samsung Securities said on June 29 that as of June 19 the number of individual clients with at least 3 billion won in financial assets stood at 10,645.
That is an increase of about 81.6 percent from 5,862 at the end of 2025. Over the same period, assets held by individual clients with at least 3 billion won rose to 252.8 trillion won from 126.8 trillion won, nearly doubling. Individual clients with at least 10 billion won in financial assets also topped 2,000.
Wealthy clients' portfolios showed a notable expansion in exposure to domestic stock investment. Samsung Securities' analysis of portfolios for clients with at least 3 billion won found the share of domestic stocks, excluding equity-type assets, rose to 57 percent as of June 19 from 41 percent at the end of 2025.
Samsung Securities has operated its SNI channel dedicated to the ultra-wealthy since 2010. SNI is a channel that provides wealth management services for emerging wealthy individuals and the ultra-wealthy.
Oh Seon-mi (오선미), a managing director in charge of SNI and platform strategy at Samsung Securities, said, "We will do our best so that customers newly joining the wealthy can reduce trial and error in wealth management and continue stable growth."
