Musinsa's global store summer discount event posted its biggest-ever results. Musinsa said on June 29 that cumulative transaction volume from its 'Monster Sale' held from June 14 to 24 across 13 regions worldwide totalled about 15.5 billion won, up more than fourfold from a year earlier.

Transaction volume on June 24, the final day of the event, topped 3.2 billion won. That was the highest daily transaction volume not only during the event but also since the global store opened. Driven by the event, the global store's transaction volume in June from June 1 to 25 surpassed 21.0 billion won. By region, combined transaction volume from Japan and the United States reached 13.0 billion won.

By brand, 22 brands including Ronron, Musinsa Standard, Arkham, Illigo and Flareup posted transaction volume in the 100 million won range. The beauty category also showed notable growth. Beauty transaction volume during the same period jumped 862 percent from a year earlier. Vodana, Beplain, Oddtype and Jung Saem Mool ranked among the top-selling brands.

A Musinsa official said the Monster Sale results were created by combining the sensibility unique to K-fashion with Musinsa's infrastructure that effectively delivers it to global customers. The official said that as the reverse direct purchase market continues to grow, Musinsa will further strengthen its role in supporting exports by helping partner brands expand and grow overseas sales channels based on the Musinsa global store.
