Webcash will build an AI agent-based inquiry service for NH Nonghyup Bank's corporate banking.
Webcash said on June 24 it signed a contract with NH Nonghyup Bank on June 16 to build an "AI agent-based inquiry service" and is pushing ahead with the project with the aim of opening the service in October.
The key to the project is to let corporate customers check deposit and loan information through a conversational interface and compare and analyse financial data.
For example, when asked questions such as, "Tell me the balance and maturity of the deposit products I hold," "Analyse changes in account balances compared with last month," or "Compare scheduled repayment amounts by loan," the AI agent identifies intent and conditions, retrieves the needed data and provides results.
It also supports multi-turn conversations that carry over the context of previous dialogue, adding conditions or changing comparison targets. Corporate finance tasks previously handled by moving across multiple screens to search, compile and analyse are to shift to a format that continues within natural-language dialogue.
To do so, Webcash will build an AI agent system interface designed with scalability in mind, a conversational UI and UX, conditional searches by deposit and loan account, multi-turn-based complex dialogue, financial data comparison and analysis, loan repayment simulation, and an AI agent operations and administrator site.
Based on its experience operating existing conversational services, it also plans to apply its in-house NL2SQL solution and an AI agent administrator site it developed. Webcash has completed the design of conversation scenarios optimised for corporate banking tasks and the formation of specialised finance and AI development staff, and has begun full-scale development.
Webcash CEO Won-ju Kang (강원주) said, "Based on our own AI technology, we will successfully support NH Nonghyup Bank's transition to agent banking (Agent Banking) and provide corporate customers with a new financial work experience."
