Agentic artificial intelligence (AI) startup Fortytwo Maru said on Tuesday it took part in the 2026 Public AI Expo held on June 23 to 24 at KINTEX’s second exhibition hall in Ilsan and showcased solutions tailored to public administration.
The expo, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and organised by the National Information Society Agency (NIA), was arranged to mark the ninth e-Government Day. It features 56 booths run by companies and public institutions.
Fortytwo Maru is showcasing use cases by public-domain area at its booth, including a government-wide large-scale AI common platform project by the interior ministry, Busan’s public administration generative AI convergence service, and a logistics information question-and-answer (QA) system for the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Army Logistics Command. It is also holding one-on-one consultations and consulting sessions for civil servants on adopting AI solutions.
At the "Public AX Innovation Technology Forum" held in Room 301 at KINTEX’s second exhibition hall on the event’s second day, Chief Executive Officer Dong-hwan Kim (김동환) gave a presentation titled "Public and administrative AX innovation strategy in the era of agentic AI." He presented commercialisation cases across the private, public and military sectors and suggested ways to control hallucinations, strengthen security and cut costs.
Kim said, "The public administration area is directly linked to people’s daily lives and national security, so reliability and securing technological sovereignty must come first." He added, "With verified agentic AI technology, we will present an AX blueprint that can safely maximise efficiency in public-sector work."
