Deliverd Korea, a cross-border shopping agent platform, said on Sunday it completed registration of two technology patents related to "AI-based delivery forecasting" and "SDK-based site integration".
The company said the newly registered patent for an "AI-based method, device and system for forecasting delivery fees and delivery options" supports consumers in comparing expected costs and durations by delivery option on a product page or shopping cart screen before final payment.
The patent for an "SDK-based method, device and system for integrating global e-commerce order and delivery information" enables Korean online mall operators to easily introduce global overseas sales solutions without undermining their existing online store environments.
With the patent registrations, Deliverd Korea aims to strengthen its competitiveness as a cross-border shopping agent that supports Korean sellers' expansion into global markets and to advance its AI-based platform.
Deliverd Korea CEO Jong-ik Kim (김종익) said that, for overseas consumers, how quickly and transparently information is provided is becoming an important factor in shopping. He said the technology applied in the patents is a core solution that turns complex international logistics calculations and difficult system integration processes into information consumers can understand at a glance. He added the company will continue to strengthen its role as a cross-border shopping agent based on technology and data.
