Hana Financial Group is expanding financial and welfare services for seniors. It plans to broaden offline financial consultation points by using park golf tournament sites, which have become a form of recreational sports for seniors, and to support a healthy retirement.
Hana Financial said on June 21 it signed a business agreement with the Korea Park Golf Association, an incorporated association, to support seniors.
The agreement was designed to expand the sport’s base and provide tailored financial services for seniors. Hana Financial will sponsor national tournaments officially hosted and organised by the association, provide lecture programmes for tournament participants, run joint promotions for association members and offer visiting customised financial consultations.
In particular, it plans to operate the "Hana The Next Happiness Dream Bus" on an ongoing basis at qualifiers and finals for 5 national tournaments hosted and organised by the association and for about 60 national tournaments sponsored by Hana Financial.
The bus will provide financial and asset management consultations, guidance on digital finance and education on preventing financial fraud. It will also offer non-financial consultations related to health and welfare to support comprehensive services tailored to seniors.
Hana Financial Group Vice Chairman Seung-yeol Lee (이승열) said, "We will continue to expand offline financial service contact points through senior sports and build, in a leading way, Hana Financial’s own senior care model that encompasses health, finance and welfare."
