South Korea's Fair Trade Commission has completed an investigation into KT and Millie's Library over allegations of unfair support, it was reported.
Industry sources said on Monday the commission sent investigators to KT and Millie's Library last week and secured related materials. The commission is reported to be checking whether KT unfairly supported Millie's Library by selling bundled products with subscription passes.
The commission previously reviewed last year whether Millie's Library supplying subscription passes to a KT affiliate at below list price violated the Fair Trade Act.
The Fair Trade Act bans unfair support, including transactions on significantly favorable terms with related parties or other companies. Millie's Library is a fourth-generation subsidiary of KT.
