MegazoneSoft, an affiliate of AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud, provided overall support for a hackathon aimed at finding ideas for Hankook & Company Group’s generative AI-based business innovation, the company said on June 16. It supported the event with Google Cloud, covering everything from building the usage environment to pre-event training and technical mentoring.
A total of 30 teams and 80 employees took part in the finals of the “AI Vibe Coding Hackathon 2026” run by Hankook & Company Group, and six teams were ultimately selected as winners.
MegazoneSoft supported the overall process, from building an AI usage environment to pre-event training and technical mentoring, so participants could implement ideas using generative AI, AI agents and vibe coding. It helped distribute AI licences and set up development environments. It also established systems to manage service usage and costs so participants could focus on implementing ideas without complex technical configuration.
For finalist teams, AI experts from MegazoneSoft and Google Cloud joined as dedicated mentors, supporting everything from project planning to implementation and presentation preparation.
Jin Geon (진건), head of Google Cloud business at MegazoneSoft, said using generative AI in an internal corporate hackathon requires technical design that considers security, access permissions, development environments and cost management, beyond simply providing AI tools. He said MegazoneSoft supported Hankook & Company Group employees so they could focus on implementing ideas in a stable environment, based on a deep understanding of Google Cloud and experience building enterprise AI, and would continue to work as a technical partner so customers can link AI beyond experimentation to real business innovation and productivity gains.
