Naver will provide Place information using actual treatment records, sharply improving convenience for pet-owning households searching for animal hospitals. A key feature is direct integration with partner systems to provide tailored filters and the latest statistics.

Naver said on June 15 it has introduced "Place Plus" tailored to animal hospitals and will work to advance the user search experience. Place Plus is a service that connects offline information online to support users' search convenience and business owners' integrated online and offline operations.

With the service introduction, users are expected to spend far less time having to search individual hospital websites or communities. Animal hospital Place Plus automatically displays reliable, up-to-date treatment information in detailed information sections through integration with partner systems.

When users search for an animal hospital with Place Plus applied on Naver Place or the map application, they can see at a glance key statistics such as the most-visited treatments over the past 3 months, the most-visited days and time slots, the share by treatment category, and revisit rates by animal type and age group.

It will also add specialized filter functions that let users narrow down hospitals to match their desired conditions. Users can set filters such as animals treated, treatment categories and disease names, and whether add-on services such as hospitalization and grooming are offered to easily find suitable animal hospitals.

Animal hospitals adopting the service can also expect natural promotional effects and new customer inflows. If they also use the offline payment terminal "Naver Pay Connect," they can create a virtuous-cycle synergy for integrated online and offline operations, including offering payment point benefits to visitors, writing simple reviews without receipts, accumulating vivid visit experiences, and reflecting usage statistics back into search results.

The animal hospital-focused Place Plus will initially start with hospitals using the "IntoCNS" solution, and it plans to gradually expand application to hospitals using other solutions.

Lee Se-hoon (이세훈), business planning leader for Naver Place, said, "As the number of pet-owning households increases, search demand is rising for deeper information, and we have introduced a tailored Place Plus to match this trend." He said, "We will continue to expand coverage so users can find the most suitable animal hospital for treatment at once through Place search alone."
