[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Anthropic engineers are meeting directly with White House officials to seek the lifting of export controls on the Mythos and Fable models.
Axios reported on June 14, citing a source, that the engineers have continued video meetings with White House officials since the U.S. government first contacted them on June 12. After the export-control measure, they also visited Washington in person.
The U.S. government has argued that Anthropic did not respond seriously enough to the discussions, but both sides want to resolve the situation quickly, Axios reported.
