Bithumb has introduced a trading support service that uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to check prices and place orders. A key feature is that users can use digital asset trading functions as if chatting with an AI.

Bithumb said on Wednesday it has launched 'AI Trade Kit', a service that lets users trade through conversations with generative AI such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

AI Trade Kit is a service in which users chat with generative AI and, through Bithumb's Open API, handle everything from price inquiries to executing actual trades.

For example, users can check market information with requests such as "Tell me which assets are surging," or set conditional scheduled orders like "Buy 1 ethereum at 2 p.m."

Users can also build automated trading bots. Bithumb explained that AI Trade Kit can be used to create automated trading programs that respond to markets 24 hours a day.

While existing automated trading programs have been seen as requiring specialised development knowledge, the new service is designed to help general investors set up an automated trading environment more easily through conversations with AI.

A Bithumb official said, "This service was planned to enable everything from price checks to automated trading through generative AI," and added, "We will continue to expand the trading environment in the future."
