Stillian launches WebSuit, expands security from mobile apps to web services

Cybersecurity company Stillian said on June 9 it launched WebSuit, a web tampering prevention and protection solution that applies AI-based behavioural analysis, and is expanding beyond mobile apps into web service protection.

The company said WebSuit defends against client-based attacks such as web page tampering, scraping, bot attacks and code analysis, while fending off malicious attacks and maintaining service availability for ordinary users.

Its AI-based behavioural pattern analysis function analyses usage patterns such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and supports detection of abnormal access that appears human. The company said it goes beyond simply detecting developer tools by analysing characteristics of actual malicious behaviour to respond to increasingly sophisticated web attacks.

WebSuit can be operated by applying a library file to existing servers without adding separate servers or proxy equipment.

Stillian said the launch of WebSuit expands its product portfolio beyond its mobile app security solution AppSuit into web service protection. In corporate environments where mobile apps and web services are operated together, it said customers are expected to be able to strengthen security across all service touchpoints.

Kim Byeong-cheol (김병철), head of Stillian's Solutions Business Division, said, "Web services are a core touchpoint where customers and companies meet, so when security threats occur, they can directly affect service trust." He said, "WebSuit is a solution that supports responding to automated attacks through AI-based behavioural analysis and strengthens web security without significantly changing the existing service environment."
