Devsisters is joining hands with the National Heritage Administration to launch a campaign promoting Korea’s World Heritage sites worldwide using its intellectual property (IP).

Devsisters said on May 29 it will roll out the “K-Heritage with Cookierun” campaign to mark the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting, which will be held in Busan in July. The campaign is part of a business agreement the two organisations signed in February.

It will begin advance promotion in early June through large media walls installed in major hub cities including Seoul and Busan. The company plans to present media art combining national heritage with the Cookierun IP.

From July 20 to 29, after the committee’s plenary session begins, it will hold an exhibition at the South Korea pavilion for the World Heritage Committee at Busan’s BEXCO. It plans to display 18 works in total, including 17 posters reinterpreting Korea’s World Heritage sites with Cookierun illustrations and 1 piece built around a theme park concept.

From July 18 to 26, ahead of the plenary session, a Cookierun K-Heritage photo zone and pop-up store will open at the event plaza of Haeundae Beach in Busan. The space will feature a 7-metre inflatable sculpture of Brave Cookie installed on the sand to greet visitors.

It will also run “Brave Cookie Tour in Busan” in connection with Busan city tour buses. The course lets participants visit attractions on a Cookierun-themed bus and experience the BEXCO exhibition and the Haeundae photo zone. Ticket sales are expected to open at the end of next month.

Beyond offline events, it will also run in-game promotions in July in titles including “Cookie Run: Kingdom,” “Cookie Run: OvenBreak” and “Cookie Run Classic.”
