HP Korea said on Wednesday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) company Upstage on AI agents.
The two companies plan to help firms of various sizes build more stable AI work environments based on HP workstations and customised enterprise AI agents.
They will jointly 추진 an AI agent package allowing customers to directly experience and validate Upstage’s generative AI solutions in HP’s high-performance AI workstation environment without initial adoption costs or operational burdens.
Yong-nam Kang (강용남), CEO of HP Korea, said, “AI is now redefining the way we work, beyond being a simple function.” He added, “Through cooperation with Upstage, HP will respond to growing on-premise and hybrid AI demand across various industries by expanding optimised AI solutions and references, and will support enterprise customers in implementing the future of work changed by AI in real work environments.”
Sung-hoon Kim (김성훈), CEO of Upstage, said, “Based on our in-house large language model (LLM) Solar and document-specialised AI technologies, Upstage has focused on advancing AI technologies that can be used in enterprise environments including finance, the public sector and manufacturing.” He added, “Through strategic cooperation and HP’s global network, we will support more enterprise customers in adopting generative AI and AI agent solutions more easily and improving work productivity.”
