SK AX said on Tuesday it has launched an AI service, AXgenticWire Compliance, that identifies in advance content that could become a legal issue, including "greenwashing", and provides response measures.

The company said AXgenticWire Compliance incorporates more than 3,400 court precedents and deliberation decision cases to help determine whether content is in violation. Users can enter product brochures, disclosure reports or website addresses into the service input window and receive a violation assessment and guidelines within seconds.

Kim Kyung-sung (김경성), head of SK AX's Manufacturing Service 2 division, said a single phrase that could be easily overlooked may lead to administrative and financial sanctions, as well as lower ESG evaluation scores that can reduce corporate value. He said the company will continue to upgrade AXgenticWire Compliance by securing global laws, regulations and cases so that domestic exporters also do not face difficulties due to greenwashing.
