Telelian (TELELIAN), an edge AI embedded systems and robot vision solutions company, said on May 19 it will formally launch its AVS300 AI robotics platform equipped with Nvidia Jetson AGX Thor, a physical AI and robotics platform.
Telelian also said it has completed development of a low-latency sensor integration platform based on the Nvidia Holoscan Sensor Bridge (NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, HSB).
According to the company, AVS300 is a high-performance edge AI controller. It can connect up to 8 cameras directly through an 8-channel GMSL2 interface that the official Thor Dev Kit does not support.
The company explained that it supports hardware-level precision synchronisation based on frame sync pulses and PPS (Pulse-Per-Second). It said this supports implementation of advanced autonomous driving algorithms such as stereo vision, 3D mapping and lidar-camera sensor fusion.
Telelian CEO Seok-gyu Kim (김석규) said, "The performance of robots and autonomous driving systems is not determined solely by AI computing performance. In on-site AI systems, the key is an architecture that collects various sensor data based on an accurate time standard and delivers it to the AI computing unit without delay." He added, "The AVS300 and the HSB-based low-latency sensor integration platform are core technologies that connect robot 'sensors' and the 'AI brain,' and we will demonstrate the competitiveness of domestically developed solutions in the rugged edge AI market across the industrial, military and defence sectors."
