SelectStar, an artificial intelligence (AI) data and reliability assessment specialist, said on Monday it will take part in '2026 AI Frontier Korea in Japan' in Japan on May 27 and showcase its automated AI reliability assessment solution, the Datumo platform.
The event is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science and ICT and organised by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). It is a South Korea-Japan business exchange event involving 42 South Korean AI innovation companies and about 100 Japan-based global conglomerates, small and medium-sized firms and venture capital firms.
Datumo is a platform that supports end-to-end reliability verification for corporate AI services. Key functions include Datumo Eval, which automatically generates and evaluates assessment questions tailored to the characteristics of generative AI services, and Datumo Red, which supports red-teaming strategies to identify vulnerabilities in AI services and enables real-time operations. Companies can use a results dashboard to check strengths and weaknesses in their AI services and directions for improvement.
SelectStar will be the only South Korean participating company to introduce an AI reliability service at the exhibition. It plans to position itself as an AI reliability verification partner in the Japanese market through booth operations and business meetings with local companies.
Jongyoung Lee (이종영), head of SelectStar's platform business division, said, "Through this event, we will introduce the value of the Datumo platform to the Japanese market and expand our foothold as a global AI reliability assessment solution."
