Artificial intelligence lightweighting and optimization technology company Nota said on May 18 it posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 3.58 billion won and an operating loss of 4.19 billion won. Revenue rose 5,240 percent from a year earlier and the operating loss narrowed 4.1 percent.
By segment, solution revenue was 2.71 billion won and platform revenue was 870,000,000 won. Solutions accounted for 76 percent of total revenue. The company said adoption expanded in industrial safety, selective monitoring, intelligent transport systems and security, centered on its generative AI video monitoring solution, Nota Vision Agent (NVA).
Order backlog was 12.1 billion won, up 116 percent from a year earlier at 5.6 billion won. Of that, the platform segment, including its AI model optimization platform Netspresso, accounted for 10.2 billion won, or 84 percent.
Nota CEO Myungsoo Chae (채명수) said, "Based on the secured order backlog, we will continue stable revenue recognition while expanding tangible business performance in on-device AI, data center AI and physical AI."
