LG Uplus has exclusively launched the value smartphone Galaxy Buddy5 priced in the 500,000 won range, targeting consumers seeking reasonable spending.
The Galaxy Buddy5 is the fifth model in the U+ exclusive 5G smartphone series Galaxy Buddy that LG Uplus introduced in 2021. Based on Samsung Electronics' Galaxy A17 5G model, it focuses on key features needed for everyday use.
The retail price is 528,000 won. Key specifications include a 169.1 mm (6.7-inch) FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel high-resolution rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel front camera, a 5,000 mAh high-capacity battery, a microSD slot and IP54-rated water and dust resistance.
It comes in three colors: black, blue and gray. Customers can buy it at LG Uplus stores nationwide and on the U+ official online store. To mark the launch, UplusLIVE will hold three live broadcasts on May 15, May 19 and May 28. Customers who return their used phones will receive a basic 20,000 won in Naver Pay points, rising to as much as 50,000 won if they return an eligible model for additional compensation.
