The meeting was the 15th stop of "Project Empathy 118" to implement field-focused policies. Experts who attended shared best practices of using AI in research support and administrative work and also shared items requiring government support.

Participants introduced various cases and implications of AI use, including AI agents that support tasks from selecting research topics to drafting plans, AI-based algorithms for searching and matching co-researchers at government-funded research institutes, and an AI-friendly document drafting system.

Ku said, "AI has emerged as a key means to reduce researchers' repetitive tasks and help them focus on creative and challenging research," and added, "We will spare no support so that research efficiency can be improved and results can be delivered."
