KT said on Tuesday it will distribute for free an installable application version of its artificial intelligence training tool, AIDU.
AIDU is an AI practice tool for non-majors unfamiliar with coding. KT developed it for AI training for its office workers. It allows users to carry out the full AI modelling process, from data analysis to training and evaluating AI models, through mouse clicks without separate coding.
The free AIDU can be used for AI practice such as data analysis by installing it on a desktop PC or laptop. It can be used without restrictions even in places where access to telecommunications networks is not possible. KT plans to provide updates that improve AIDU's functionality and performance.
Jong-hyung Lee (이종형), a deputy general manager in KT's AICE planning team, said he expects AIDU to expand the use of AI not only in training but also in work. He said KT will continue to enhance AIDU to support all citizens in using AI in daily life.
