LG Electronics' OLED monitors are being installed in Hyundai Motor's high-performance racing simulator, broadening their application area. LG Electronics said on May 11 it will supply OLED monitors for the 'Hyundai N Racing Simulator' developed for Hyundai's high-performance N brand. Through the supply, LG Electronics' OLED monitors will expand their use from broadcast and film production sites into the simulator field.

The Hyundai N Racing Simulator will be released in 2 versions, Pro and Racer, depending on specifications. The Pro model applies a 65-inch LG OLED Pro monitor, and the Racer model applies a 65-inch LG OLED TV. Both products use 4K OLED panels.

The LG OLED Pro monitor is developed for professional production environments such as broadcasting and film. It has an interface that can transmit high-definition, high-capacity content without compression. It supports built-in color calibration and optimized calibration functions that adjust screen brightness and color uniformity. It features accurate color reproduction, a contrast ratio close to infinite, and fast response speed.

LG Electronics' OLED monitors have mainly been supplied to professional environments that handle high-definition content, such as broadcasters and film production companies. The supply to the Hyundai N Racing Simulator is the first case of expanding demand beyond professional video production to the industrial simulator field.

An LG Electronics official said, "LG Electronics plans to continue expanding business opportunities across various fields with customized solutions, from video production sites to various simulators, based on OLED technology capabilities accumulated over a long time and signage competitiveness."
