Adviser Choi Joong-geun.

Web3 cybersecurity firm Anam145 said on May 7 it has appointed Choi Joong-geun (최중근), a former vice president at ITCEN Global, as an adviser.

Choi is a co-founding member of ITCEN Group. He took part in efforts including the acquisition of Korea Gold Exchange, participation in a Busan digital asset exchange consortium and an expansion of an RWA tokenisation business.

Choi will serve as an adviser to Anam145 and plans to support its growth. "As the transition from Web2 to Web3 takes place, security will become a core part of the industry's infrastructure," Choi said. "Anam145's technology and global proof-of-concept experience, built by talent that has experienced the front lines of cyberwarfare, provide a sufficient foundation to take on that core role," he said.

Anam145 is a Web3 cybersecurity company founded by professor Lee Joong-hee of Korea University and co-founder Shim Joon-sik, his doctoral student. It provides digital asset security infrastructure for institutions that combines a Web3 wallet, abnormal transaction detection and policy-based transaction control technology.

Lee Joong-hee said Choi's accumulated experience and network in Web3 digital finance will be a big boost in opening Anam145's next stage of growth.
