Dinotesia said on Tuesday it has released a beta version of LegalQ, an AI search service that explores laws and provisions in natural language.

LegalQ can find relevant statutes and related clauses through everyday questions without needing the name of a law or an article number. Instead of feeding a user’s question directly into search, it applies an “agentic RAG (Agentic RAG)” method in which an agent interprets the user’s intent, rewrites it into legal terminology and then selects a search approach.

The service uses the legalize.kr dataset, which is based on official law data from the Ministry of Government Legislation’s shared National Law Information service and has been reprocessed to include law revision histories. Dinotesia explained it indexed the full text of laws and article information in its in-house “Seahorse” vector database and combined it with law-specialised multi-agents to improve search accuracy.

Dinotesia CEO Jeong Mu-gyeong (정무경) said, “LegalQ is an AI law search service that helps anyone quickly find the legal basis they need.” He added, “Based on the Seahorse vector DB and our agent technology, we will expand sovereign AI services in the public data sector.”
