OpenAI held an event in Seongdong district, Seoul, on April 29 under the theme, "Changing the way we work with Codex: Musinsa's AI-native operating system," and shared real-world Codex deployment cases and how it is used.
About 30 people attended the event, including well-known influencers such as Jo Coding (조코딩) (YouTube), Heo Seong-beom (허성범) (YouTube), choi.openai (Threads) and Shin Young-seon's AI Exploration (YouTube).
Musinsa CTO Jun Jun-hee (전준희) discussed, in a fireside chat session, why Musinsa introduced Codex, how it integrated AI across its development workflow, changes in development speed and productivity before and after adoption, and his views on how coding agents could redefine developers' roles in the future.
He answered questions including, "At which stage do you use Codex the most?" "Why did Musinsa decide to introduce and scale Codex among multiple agents?" and "How does the role of developers change?"
Codex is OpenAI's coding agent. It supports writing, editing, debugging and testing code from natural-language commands, as well as developing complex functions and refactoring code.
Eum Seong-won (음성원), head of communications at OpenAI Korea, said, "We wanted to create a venue to directly share and communicate how OpenAI services such as Codex and ChatGPT are actually being used in expert communities." He added, "As major updates such as GPT-5.5 and ChatGPT Image 2.0 continue, we plan to keep expanding opportunities to share the latest information and real application cases with key developers."
