Igloo Corporation, an AI-based security operations and analytics platform company, said on Thursday it has obtained four new patents related to core artificial intelligence technologies. Igloo Corporation plans to use the patents to strengthen its AI capabilities and advance its Autonomous Security Operations Center, or Autonomous SOC.

The patents focus on providing cyber threat detection results using AI models and improving reliability across the overall analysis process, the company said.

The company said its "AI model-based security event monitoring technology" combines classification, explanatory and generative models. It presents detection results and detailed grounds for judgment to security personnel, raising the level of security operations automation.

Igloo Corporation also secured patented technologies for trustworthy AI operations and data protection. Its "dynamic filtering and response technology to prevent sensitive information leakage" classifies in real time whether data includes sensitive information such as personal data and IP addresses when using conversational AI, and applies masking in advance to prevent information leaks.

Igloo Corporation defines AI as a core partner in security operations and plans to focus on strengthening technological, process and workforce capabilities to implement an Autonomous SOC. It plans to support the building of Autonomous SOCs in public and private sectors and to present a comprehensive security strategy to respond to a changing security environment, including the national network security framework (N2SF), Zero Trust and AI transformation (AX).

Deuk-chun Lee (이득춘), chief executive of Igloo Corporation, said, "We will continue striving to secure core AI technologies to bring forward the implementation of an Autonomous SOC, and based on this we will accelerate the expansion of our global business."
